Some documents may require one or more witnesses. Please confirm with the facility whether staff are allowed to serve in that capacity, as many facilities do not permit it. If needed, the Notary can help arrange independent witnesses for an additional fee.Have documents ready.
Notaries cannot draft or create legal documents such as Wills, Advance Healthcare Directives, or Affidavits unless they are also licensed legal professionals. Please have all documents completed and ready prior to the appointment.
